The updated hub now offers improved functionality for physicians (HCPs) to find and collect studies on omega-3s and specific health outcomes of interest. It also curates Continuing Education Units (CEUs) on omega-3 fatty acids.

The new features were added to reinforce the website’s goal of educating this audience about the clinical benefits of EPA and DHA for brain, heart, eye, and prenatal / maternal health.

The website alerts HCPs to important information, including some key facts: “80% of people worldwide are under cardioprotective omega-3 levels”, “the body’s highest concentration of DHA is in the retina of the eye”. and “Omega-3 DHA is a vital nutrient during pregnancy and breastfeeding”.

In addition to educational infographics for practitioners, the website now includes a patient-specific details section, including infographics and videos. is part of GOED’s broader HCP education strategy. GOED invites all omega-3 companies to share this website with health care professionals.


The Global Organization for EPA and DHA Omega-3 Fatty Acids (GOED) is a trade association representing more than 170 global companies active in the EPA and DHA omega-3 industries.

The association also runs a website, which has consumer-friendly information on Omega-3 benefits, including infographics, videos, and a quiz to help them see if they’re getting enough.
