Strengthening immunity is on everyone’s lips these days. With the risk that the coronavirus will still be big and the weather will change and we are prone to common infections like viral fever, cold and cough, strong immunity is even more important. India’s Food Safety and Standards Agency (FSSAI) confirmed some omega-3 rich plant foods and posted a post on Twitter encouraging people to consume them.
The food regulatory agency suggested plant-based foods that are naturally rich in omega-3 fatty acids and should be included in our regular diet. The contribution read: “Starting today, include plant-based foods rich in omega-3 fatty acids in your diet to boost your immunity.” Here are the foods that the FSSAI mentioned on their Twitter post.

Omega-3 Rich Plant Foods For Strong Immunity:
1. Kidney beans
Kidney beans (or rajma) are everyone’s favorite. The protein-rich legume is also a good source of immunity-boosting omega-3 fatty acids, which gives us more reasons to consume our favorite meal, Rajma-Chawal.
